Grasshopper Jungle by Andrew Smith

If you think this book is going to be about natural happenings, think again. Austin is a 16 year old student at Curtis Crane Lutheran Academy, and he, his girlfriend Shann, and his best friend Robby, completely go against the grain.

This out of the box Sci-Fi “End of the World” yet “Coming of Age” style novel involves everything from a back alley, a thrift store, sex, drugs, drinking, human sexuality, divorce, family history, killer mold, giant bugs, and death, so you’re sure to enjoy this book that you certainly wouldn’t find at Curtis Crane.
